This inhibitor has demonstrated potent beta - secretase inhibition (IC50 ~30 nM) under the following conditions. Buffer: 20 nM sodium acetate, pH 4.8, 0.06% Triton X-100. Substrate: MBPAPPC125 recombinant fusion protein, 10 μg/mL. The fusion protein contains a C-terminal fragment of myelin basic protein (MBP) and the 124 amino acid C-terminal fragment of amyloid precursor protein (APPC123).
